Winter Semester Final Project Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design – Stockholm, SE
Material: Borosilicate glass, steel suspension
Size: H 24–40 × W 14–40 cm
These glass sculptures are built by slowly bending and joining lines of borosilicate glass into accumulated structures. The space in between becomes just as important as the outline. The forms hold themselves through balance, existing lightly in space while remaining structurally present. The work emerged during a period of personal and material transition, when working with fragility and suspension became a way to search for steadiness. EROS continues my long-term exploration of care, material empathy, and softness as sculptural language. Earlier work explored softness through weight and surface. In this project, softness appears through openness, giving shape to vulnerability.
