Hello, I’m Karolína Kučerová
I am an American-born artist with Czech-Slovak roots, currently studying in Stockholm. Working primarily with glass and ceramics, my practice explores softness within hard materials. I am interested in how vulnerability, tension, and care can become physically present through form.
My work develops through an intuitive and embodied relationship with material. I see this relationship as a long-term, evolving process. I am drawn to materials that respond, resist, and co-create with me.
Through sculptural forms and spatial works, I create sensory encounters that move between delicacy and strength, openness and containment, structure and softness.
