EMPATHY 8. White & Purple Flower Vessel

Ceramic EMPATHY vessels were made during Karo's final semester project at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague in 2024.

"These vessels reflect my relationship with clay and the continuous exploration of its plasticity. ‘Empathy’ describes the ability to share the feelings of another referencing a psychological exchange mostly between people, but I use this term to describe the reciprocity between craftmaker and the material at hand. Highlighting soft properties in hard material mirrors my progression in creating a sincere, vulnerable approach, not only in artistic expression but also to myself, others and the world around me."

Each  vessel is thrown and attached with contrasting 'soft' decorative handles.

Care instructions: Gently wash with water, use a soft brush if needed on spots. Do not use a fabric or paper towel.

Transparent glaze is inside, so you can add a flower or two if you want.
